Low Carb Teriyaki Sauce
Awesome recipe adapted from Low Carb Yum.
Cooking + Prep Time: ~10 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 1/3 cup Soy Sauce
- 1 1/3 cup Rice Vinegar
- 1 cup Brown Sugar substitute
- 4 teaspoons of powdered garlic OR 8 teaspoons of minced garlic
- 8 teaspoons of Ginger Paste
- 2 teaspoons of Xanthan Gum
- 4 teaspoons Sesame Seeds
Directions
- Mix in all ingredients except the Xantum Gum in a medium sized saucepan over medium heat.
- Once the sauce hits a slight boil, turn down the heat to medium low to mix in the Xanthan Gum slowly at a high speed and the Sesame Seeds if desire.
- Remove from the heat and let the sauce cool. The sauce can stay fresh in an airtight container for up to a week.
